Michael and Michelle Peña, founders of Guava-Rose, were honored to co-host the After Hours Art Event alongside Simone Scott of Cayman Brac Culture & Heritage, in collaboration with the Cayman Brac National Trust (CBNT), local artists, cultural leaders, and community members. What a joy it was to witness this vision come to life.
Every detail—from the historic setting of Eldemire House (est. 1928) in the Creek District, to the stunning thatch crafts, handmade centerpieces of conch, locally picked flowers and flags, to the thoughtfully curated refreshments like bush teas and homemade sweets—reflected a deep love for Cayman Brac and its people. The atmosphere was rich with creativity, connection, and culture. Guests painted with inspiration from the sunset, shared heartfelt poems, and gathered in a space that celebrated community.
We were also proud to support CBRAC (Coast to Bluff Recreational Access and Conservation) in promoting their newly published book, Cayman Brac: From Bluff to Sea, which honors local artists and authors of all ages.
Special thanks to Cayman Brac Culture & Heritage, CBNT, and all those who contributed time, space, and spirit to this collaborative celebration.
To everyone who lent a hand, a smile, a song, or a story—thank you. This wasn’t just an event—it was a moment of shared pride and purpose. We’re grateful and honored to have been part of the magic.
